Kimi is fed up with the cell phone obsession that has taken over her school. Instead of focusing on the project for her parent's ten-year wedding anniversary, she can't help but be distracted by all of the ringing and talking on the phones. With Susie's help, she starts a petition drive to get them banned from the school property. But once Angelica gets wind of Kimi's idea, she's determined to fight tooth and nail in order to keep the freedom of using cell phones at the school. Things get personal once Angelica recruits Chuckie for her campaign, and an old-fashioned mud-slinging war breaks out between the two sides. Chuckie and Kimi get into a massive argument, which almost ruins their parents anniversary party.

Chuckie tries excusing himself from working on the poem for Kira and Chas' anniversary party, but Kimi won't allow it.
Chuckie has Tommy working on a pictorial montage of Kira and Chas through the years, which includes hours of film.
Needless to say, Kimi is quite surprised to see what side Chuckie is now working for.
Angelica hears about Kimi's petition to ban cell phones in school and needless to say, she is not thrilled about it.
Angelica has started a campaign to "save the cell phones," but since nobody can trust her, she is getting no signatures.
Susie sees through Angelica's plan and becomes Kimi's adviser to stop her and the pro-cell phone campaign.
In order for Chuckie to stand out, Angelica orders him to wear contacts, which he would rather not do but has no choice.
Chuckie is ready to work on the poem, but Kimi has another job for him: to put a flyer in everyone's locker.
Since Angelica is going no where with her petition, she recruits Chuckie and his "new face" to help her cause.
Dil has been hired to gather up data for both sides of the campaign and see who has the preliminary lead.

Angelica crashes the anti-cell phone table and pretends to have food poisoning after consuming one of Kimi's cookies.
Dil informs Angelica that the race so far is neck-and-neck. Kimi's positive argument is helping her stay in the race.
Tommy has been staying up late and getting very little sleep working on the film for Kira and Chas' party.
Angelica and Chuckie sneak into Tommy's room when he's asleep and find an embarrassing picture of Kimi.
The debate gets personal once Kimi and Chuckie bring up embarrassing facts about each other, not related to the campaign.
Kimi is in tears and wishes she never started the petition drive. Now she and Chuckie aren't speaking to each other.
Chuckie and Kimi hash out their differences during the middle of Kira and Chas' party.
After having a discussion with Susie, Angelica tries to get Chuckie to attend his parent's anniversary party.
Things are quickly turning sour, which is where Tommy's film saves the day. It helps Kimi and Chuckie patch things up.
Even after a compromise has been reached between the two sides, Kimi ends up getting caught with a cell phone.
